La Guerra y la Revolución, el valor de la Constitución y el inevitable y necesario transitar de la historia a la literatura, constituyen los distintos escenarios en los que se desarrollan los trabajos contenidos en este volumen, trabajos que quieren ser, como el coloquio que los reunió, un homenaje al libro de Manuel Ardit Lucas, "Revolución liberal y revuelta campesina", 30 años después de su edición.
